What a badge means — and what it doesn't

TradeMind separates three kinds of information: what a business says about itself, what TradeMind has checked, and what the platform has recorded from activity. Each is labelled differently everywhere it appears.

Checks we perform

Business registration

The registration number matches a registered entity with the stated legal name.

Business address

The stated operating address was confirmed through supporting evidence.

Authorised representative

The person managing the workspace is authorised to act for the business.

What verification does not guarantee

  • Financial solvency or ability to fulfil a particular order
  • Product quality, specification compliance or certification authenticity
  • Contract performance, safe delivery or absence of fraud
  • Future business conduct

Always confirm commercial terms directly, inspect goods where appropriate, and use payment methods that suit the risk of the transaction. If something looks wrong, use “Report this business” on any supplier profile — reports are reviewed by people, and decisions are recorded with reasons.
